Privacy policy

How RegArts Productions handles information when you use this website (RegArts Portal).

Last updated: April 14, 2026

This policy describes our current practices for this site. It is provided for transparency and is not legal advice. If you need terms tailored to your jurisdiction or contracts, consult qualified counsel.

1. Who we are

RegArts Productions operates this website. For questions about this policy or your personal information, contact us at events@regarts.ca or by phone at +1 204-807-3355.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may process the following categories of information.

2.1 Contact form

When you use Contact, you may provide first and last name, email (optional), phone (optional), city (optional), inquiry topic, and your message. We use this information only to read and respond to your inquiry. Email is sent to our team using the server’s mail facility; if you supply an email address, it may be used as a reply address in the message headers.

2.2 Subscribe / mailing list modal

The site may offer a subscription or announcement form (for example from the site footer). If you submit it, we collect first name, last name, email, city, an optional message, and your confirmation that you agree to this policy. We use that information to process your request and to send relevant updates from RegArts Productions. Submissions are emailed to our team using the server’s mail facility; we do not use your email address as the “From” sender on outgoing mail.

2.3 Accounts, sign-in, and portals

If you have an account (for example staff or a customer portal user), we store account details needed to operate the service, such as email, display name, role, password hash, and activity timestamps, in our secure database. We do not store your password in plain text. Signing in uses a session cookie (or similar session mechanism) so the site can remember that you are logged in until you sign out or the session expires.

2.4 Customers and events (internal use)

If we maintain your details as part of producing or promoting events (for example in our internal tools linked to this site), we use that information to run our business: contracts, ticketing links, communications you expect from us, and related administration.

2.5 Technical data (browsing)

Like most websites, our hosting environment may automatically process technical information such as IP address, browser type, date and time of requests, and pages viewed. Our application may also log errors or security-related events to help keep the site reliable.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies or equivalent storage needed for the site to work safely—for example to keep you signed in, to protect forms with anti-forgery tokens, and to remember basic UI preferences where applicable. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking required cookies may limit sign-in or forms.

This site may load fonts or other assets from third-party services (for example Google Fonts). Those providers may receive technical data (such as IP address) in line with their own policies when your browser requests those assets.

5. Sharing and service providers

We share information only as needed to run the site and our business: for example with our hosting provider (servers and email delivery), and with professional advisers where required by law. We may disclose information if required to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or an enforceable government request.

6. Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Email sent from web forms depends on how long copies are retained in our mail systems; database records are kept according to our operational and backup practices.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal information, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To ask for access, correction, deletion, or to raise a concern, contact events@regarts.ca. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity before acting on certain requests.

9. Children’s privacy

This site is not directed at children under the age where parental consent is required for collection of their personal information. If you believe we have collected such information in error, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised policy.
